For over 40 years, the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) has been educating naturopathic doctors. In fact, more than 20% of NDs practising in North America are graduates of CCNM. We are the only naturopathic college in Canada approved to grant a Doctor degree. Our research department is a world-wide leader in evidence-based naturopathic medicine research. CCNM research has appeared in many peer-reviewed publications including The BMJ, the Lancet and Canada’s premier medical journal, the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ). The College is currently conducting more than $10 million dollars in studies examining a variety of supportive therapies for cancer care.

Preparing for your future career as an ND starts in first year at CCNM. We are the home of North America’s largest naturopathic teaching clinic, the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, as well as the only naturopathic teaching clinic in a hospital setting in North America at the Brampton Civic Hospital. From preceptorships, to externships to eventually becoming a full time intern in our clinics, your future career as an ND is never far from your experience at CCNM.

Our campus offers a 198 room on-site student residence, healthy foods cafeteria, book and medical supply store, fitness centre, herb garden, on-site teaching clinic and learning resource centre.

• Admissions applications are accepted on a rolling basis through the Naturopathic Doctor Centralized Application Service (NDCAS)
