The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) is the largest school system in Atlantic Canada with approximately 11,000 full-time, part-time and casual employees. Serving over 53,000 students in 135 schools, our geographic region spans a 350 km radius.
HRCE has immediate term openings for teachers in a variety of areas including French Immersion. All positions are posted on our website and can be viewed at www.myhrce.ca/jobs. Positions are typically posted every Wednesday at 4 pm and close the following Monday at 4 pm so be sure to check regularly.
HRCE also has immediate openings for Substitute Teachers and full-time daily work is available. Once new applicants to the HRCE Substitute Teacher list submit all required documentation as outlined in the Substitute Teacher job posting they will be added to our substitute pool and can begin accepting assignments immediately.
